We have created a unique chart for our exclusive clientele. Besides the global standardized FIT for Fine Hats, we have also attached the sizes in inches and centimeters to have an accurate size. We highly recommend referring to this chart and measuring your head with a tape measure before placing an order.

The correct method to gauge the quality of a hat is by counting the threads at the base of the crown within a selected square inch area. For instance, in a 50 grade hat there will be 2,500 threads counted within that square inch area. However, to simplify the counting process, artisans have kept the traditional and genuine “Inch Method”to gauge the finesse with the help of a tape measure and a very thin needle. Placing the tape on the base of the crown and counting the threads within an inch with the needle, will dictate the finesse of the hat. Grades measured within an inch go from 14 grades to 50 grades (196 grades to 2,500 grades on the square-inch method).
